Lauren, I think this is great advice and so helpful to idea people who, thus far, have not been able to see their ideas come to fruition. That time is now! I love your perspective and energy and your zeal for sharing. It is palpable and much appreciated.

I love this article, Lauren!! It had everything from top to bottom, left and right.

This is the way to build with AI as a non-dev. Jumping in, working with the AI as a partner, investigating what it’s telling you without taking it for face value, reading the code!

I love how you are putting trust in the other person that they can build with AI.

And shouting out Jason Ives who is one of my favorite people on Substack!

I’m excited to see what else you write and to follow along for more!

I'm really excited to see what (to your term) a non-dev can build. I have been training folks at work to use AI to build and it's making us so much more productive. I can only imagine what it's doing outside of a work environment.

It is paradise outside of a work environment. No restrictions. Also, that’s awesome you’re teaching people at work!

Yeah. That narrative that somehow devs were gatekeeping was, admittedly, short lived and, in my opinion, totally false. I want to teach everyone these skills if for no other reason than I don’t have to do the work.
